Melbourne EOY Dinner 2022

2nd December 2022

On Thursday 1st December we had our Melbourne End of Year Dinner at the Mercure in North Melbourne hosted by Transport Women Australia Limited Chair Jacquelene Brotherton and Vice Chair Coralie Chapman and what a fabulous night it was!! The energy in the room could have powered the city.

Unfortunately, our Foundation Business Partners Volvo Group and NTI were unable to join us, but NTI graciously and generously sponsored our pre dinner drinks.

We were joined by our Driving the Difference Scholarship sponsor Daimler Truck AG Australia Pacific who fielded a large team. Corporate members and previous Learning Initiatives Breakfast sponsorsTWUSUPER and Teletrac Navman Australia each sent a duo of gentlemen to join us. Jessica Shustin and Isabel Farrugia represented Cummins South Pacific, a long-term sponsor. We were also joined by corporate members Sargeant Transport, Scania Australia Finance, Allied Seafreight, Knorre Bremse, Alex Fraser, Hanson Australia and Prime Creative Media – Publishing Creative Media who is also our print media partner.
The largest transport team on the night was from Linfox.

Our VIP for the evening was 2021 Trish Pickering Memorial Award recipient Hazel Whitmore but the absolute highlight of the evening was the launch of our “Living the Dream” video and song produced by Dene Menzel of Branthem.
