2025 Young Gunnette Award - Transport Women

On Wednesday morning July 2nd Transport Women Australia Limited along with sponsors Cummins Inc. were delighted to present the 2025 Young Gunnette award to Chelsea Lawson in Brisbane.

Cummins at Carole Park hosted a morning tea followed by a site tour which was certainly enjoyed by Chelsea, her dad, and our chair, Jacquelene Brotherton. We are extremely fortunate to have such talented young women in our industry and as members of our support team. Chelsea is an automotive mechanic for light vehicles. Chelsea is now off the tools spearheading an industry initiative of MTAQ, whereby she coordinates mentoring and support networks for QLD female automotive apprenticeships.
