Brisbane EOY Breakfast

5th December 2024

On Wednesday, December 4, Transport Women Australia Limited celebrated with a sold-out Brisbane breakfast event at the Greek Club.
The end of year event was hosted by our Chair, Jacquelene Brotherton and Queensland Director Loretta Hartley. We had over 80 guests attend the breakfast and were fortunate enough to have in attendance both Foundation Business Partners Volvo Trucks Australia and NTI. We also acknowledged our Gold Partners – Linfox and Prime Creative Media – Publishing and our Silver Partner – Viva Energy Australia. Thank you also to our Corporate Members, RT Health, Teletrac Navman Australia, Harvey’s Towing and Cornerstone Risk who continue to support and attend our events.
TWAL presented Emma Manton with her Driving the Difference Scholarship sponsored by Daimler Truck Australia Pacific, Emma plans to use this to further her skills with a management and leadership course. TWAL have a fantastic Creating Connections Mentoring Program, and we heard from one of our latest pairings Janelle Green from NTI and Loretta Hartley about the benefits of the program for both mentors and mentees. TWAL are always looking for mentors and mentees as we continue to grow this initiative.
We also welcomed Jason O’Dwyer – Queensland Bus Industry Council and Ray Deegan – Business Chamber Queensland to their first TWAL event. Special mention to the largest team of the day NTI closely followed by Team Transport & Logistics Pty Ltd.
We wrapped up with fabulous raffle and lucky door prizes, thank you to Australian Supercars who have donated prizes for many of our end of year events as well as the many other various generous donations we have received. TWAL would like to thank the loyal volunteers who help make these events such a great success.
