Canberra CareersXpo -14-16 August 2025
Transport Women Australia (TWAL) has just enjoyed a huge couple of days at the Canberra CareersXpo. 9500 high school students (Years 10-12) from the ACT & rural NSW attended across the two days.
TWAL coordinated two stalls, an internal information booth, and in the carpark, a stall & simulators, demonstrating truck & excavator driving, both showing the varied careers available in a transport company.
Everyone involved was passionate & engaged in explaining Transport Career Pathways.
A huge thanks to:
– Brett Carter Events & Winston Bucknell of CareersXpo for your enthusiastic response to our requests for space!
To our wonderful volunteers, fellow non profit transport bodies, corporate members, partners & supporters:
– LBRCA NSW Bec Coleman & friends
