Stephanie Azzopardi from Corporate Member Roadmaster Transport represented TWAL on Thursday the 4th April at Marayong Public School as part of our collaboration with
Inspiring the Future Australia, Career Aspiration Event. This career event had guest speakers in a variety of job roles from various organisations and cultural backgrounds sitting on numbered chairs dressed casually and the children tried to guess what job they do by asking them a series of yes/no questions. After the children were finished questioning, the volunteer representatives left the stage and then returned one by one in the uniform or prop representing their job and they introduced themselves and explained how primary school subjects such as reading and maths are used in their daily work. Once all the volunteer representatives returned to the stage, the children sat in small groups while the representatives rotated between groups to further explain what they do and answer students’ questions.
