On March 16 2023, Transport Women Australia Limited celebrated international Women’s Day with a wonderful dinner at the Mercure North Melbourne. The event was co-hosted by Jacquelene Brotherton, Coralie Chapman and Simone Reinertsen.
It was a well attended event with both PACCAR Australia and Cummins Inc. / Cummins Meritor sending large teams.
We had some first timers, Nishma and Ian from Natrio, Rathi Subramaniam from Orica and stalwart TWAL supporters, Sargeant Transport, Prime Creative Media – Publishing, Allied Seafreight, Cement Australia and Australia Post.
We had three wonderful speakers to share their stories – Suji Sanjeevan of Light and Glo & BrandScent, Wendy M. of Restored Finance and Sonya Comninos a Strategist, Innovator, and Change Leader who is on the TWAL Governance Subcommittee.
We had a lot of conversation and laughter, good food and caught up with old friends and made many new ones.
The lucky prizes were won by Jade Groves, Chloe Wythe, Julie Krnel, Wendy Mawoyo and Shan Rahman.
