Patron of Dream Maker Awards

Transport Women Australia Limited and the
National Road Transport Hall of Fame are proud to announce Northern Territory MLA The Honourable Minister Lawler as Patron of the Dream Maker Awards. The Hon Ms Lawler said, “I am privileged to become Patron of the Dream Maker Awards, which presents a fantastic opportunity to support an industry which keeps the wheels of the Territory turning”.
The Inaugural Dream Maker Awards were presented at the Transport women Unite Red Ball at Alice Springs in August in conjunction with the Festival of Transport for the very first time.
Ms Lawler co-presented the Awards with TWAL Chair, Jacquelene Brotherton to twenty-five wonderful deserving women from around Australia amongst a sea of red on the night. Ms Lawler is well known thought the NT as a member of the Bilato trucking family.
Ms Brotherton said, “We are excited about this appointment, and we are looking forward to working with Ms Lawler as we prepare to the 2024 Dream Maker Awards and the 2nd Transport Women Unite Red Ball which will be even bigger and brighter”.
TWAL and NRTHF are looking forward to recognising more women who work tirelessly behind the scenes in our industry and often do not get to shine among their peers. The Hon Ms Lawler echoes the sentiments of both Jacquelene Brotherton and Nick Prus, CEO of the National Transport Museum with these words “These awards are truly about celebrating and recognising the outstanding achievements of women in the Transport industry who demonstrate the highest level of service and professionalism each and every day”.
