Jacquelene Brotherton awarded 2023 Outstanding Contribution to the Trucking Industry Award
Transport Women Australia Limited is so extremely excited to announce and congratulate our Chair Jacquelene Brotherton for winning the Outstanding Contribution To The Trucking Industry Award for 2023 at the Australian Trucking Association National Trucking Industry Awards on March 31st.
Jacquelene has over 50 years in the industry and has long advocated for women in non-traditional careers in transport and logistics, through various mediums including speaking, writing, implementing training forums, bringing together successful career women to provide mentors, learning initiative breakfasts and scholarships for higher learning opportunities, through industry associations, and supporters.
Jacquelene was Chair of Transport Women Australia Limited from 2009 to 2011, and returned to the role of Chair in November 2017 and still remains the current Chair dedicating many hours of her time to the association.
This is such an amazing achievement and extremely well deserved. Jacquelene has worked and continues to work tirelessly for the industry with a passion for diversity in the industry.
We also congratulate Jim Hurley and Chris E’cluse for being such outstanding finalists in this category.
