TWAL members named finalists in Trucking Australia 2023 Awards!

Finalists announced for 2023 National Trucking Industry Awards

Transport Women Australia Limited is extremely excited to announce TWAL nominees and members, Jacquelene Brotherton and Annastasia Denigan as well as TWAL Member Melira Lister have been named finalists in the Australian Trucking Association, National Trucking Industry Awards for 2023.
Jacquelene Brotherton has been named a finalist for the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award. Jacquelene is the Chair of Transport Women Australia Limited and has over 50 years of experience and contribution to the industry. Jacquelene is passionate about diversity and demonstrates leadership, encourages growth and strongly advocates for diversity and inclusion for people pursuing non traditional careers and has been a long-standing advocate for the trucking industry as a whole.
Annastasia Denigan has been named a finalist for the Woman of the Year award. Annastasia is currently on the Board of TWAL as a Director and is an authentic and passionate leader who takes a collaborative approach with stakeholders to deliver efficient and practical solutions to the issues facing trucking businesses today.
Melira Lister has also been named a finalist for the Woman of the Year award. Melira has over 10 years experience in the heavy transport, crane and major project sector. Melira credits foremost her love and passion for the industry as well as her determination to obtain new skills as her driving force to succeed in a predominantly male industry.
We are so so thrilled for all three of our members and would like to congratulate them all as well as all the finalists and nominees.
The awards will be announced at Trucking Australia next week on the Sunshine Coast.
