On Thursday the 19th June, Chair, Jacquelene Brotherton was honoured to attend the
Women in Industry to accompany our two nominated finalists, Sally-Ann Eather (Excellence in Transport) and Louise Azzopardi (Mentor of the Year). While we did not take away any trophies on the night, our members were amazing and were superstars in a star-studded night.
We met some incredible women, and we were excited to be in the room with such spectacular talent. Sally-Ann was accompanied by her supportive and amazing husband Peter, and Louise by her mother, Lucy. Louise was keen to acknowledge on the night how much support her mother had given her throughout her career.
The overall winner of Woman of the Year, was Tammy O’Connor; she was simply incredible, and her story is testament to what you can achieve in your life, if you have the commitment.
This event is always amazing and TWAL always nominate members in as many categories as we are able, if you are interested in being nominated next year, please reach out when the Awards are announced and then contact us early so we can make the necessary nominations as they take a lot of time and effort to get a great nomination in before the closing date.
